St. Peter’s School Student Earns National Outstanding Penmanship Award

Congratulations to St. Peter’s School Kindergarten student Emily Tran for earning the National Grade Level Outstanding Penmanship award for 2018!

For over 30 years, the Zaner Bloser National Handwriting Contest has been recognizing outstanding penmanship among students. Students who compete come from both public and private schools across the country. The contest is open to all students in grades K–8 and awards excellence at the state and national level. Annual contest entries were dueJanuary 23, of course! (John Hancock’s birthday!)

It was estimated that over 280,000 students across New Jersey entered this year’s contest. Emily’s handwriting was chosen as the best compared to all the Kindergarten entries.

Emily’s submission will now be forwarded and judged at the Grand-National level.
We wish her luck!
