The Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Newark offer a considerable value for a private education that promotes college readiness and supports spiritual development, with the aim of keeping Catholic education attainable for all. Our Catholic schools educate students at a far lower cost than is spent by public schools in New Jersey, where the average cost to educate a student each year tops $22,000.

The Archdiocese of Newark offers tuition assistance through the Scholarship Fund for Inner City Children, which provides partial tuition assistance to economically-disadvantaged children attending private and parochial schools within Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Union counties.
