Saint Joseph Regional High School Hosts Twentieth Annual Scholastic Olympics

Academy of Our Lady, Glen Rock took top honors

Saint Joseph Regional High School hosted its Twentieth Annual Scholastic Olympics program on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Twenty-one Catholic grammar schools from the Archdioceses of Newark and New York counties competed in the event.

The Academy of Our Lady in Glen Rock (top) took top honors in the team competition, while Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Park Ridge finished second and St. Elizabeth School in Wyckoff took third.

Individual trophies were awarded to the top three finishers (boys and girls) in English, Mathematics, Science, Theology, Social Studies, Art and Spelling. Trophies were also presented to the top scorers (boys and girls combined) in the Computer competition and the SuperQuiz that combined a variety of questions about academic subjects, the arts and current events.

More than 300 students participated in the competition.

 

Our Lady of Mercy Academy, Park Ridge finished second

St. Elizabeth’s of Wyckoff takes third
