Professional Development

Principals are encouraged to recommend to the attention of their teachers the services of national and regional curriculum associations, in addition to those professional development programs sponsored by the Office of the Superintendent of Schools. Continuing the collaborative initiative of many schools, professional development for teachers may occur on the local, county, or archdiocesan level as needs require. This program is based on the New Jersey State Requirements for Professional Development.

Workshops/Presentations are available to individual schools and/or their duly appointed representatives on a reservation basis.  The majority of our workshops take place at the Archdiocesan Center located at 171 Clifton Ave., Newark, NJ 07104.
