Important Dates

September 1st
Online registration for the November 8, 2024 HSPT opens at  www.njcoopexam.org. Registration Fee: $70.00.

September 20th
Deadline for Catholic school 8th grade students to submit to their elementary school any information requested by the school for HSPT registration

October 7th
Deadline for participating Catholic elementary schools to complete student registrations for HSPT or for students attending participating Catholic elementary schools to register online individually, if instructed by the school

October 18th

Last day for those seeking approval for extended testing time to submit the “Eligibility Form for Extended Testing Time” and required documentation. See the Eligibility Form for information about mailing or emailing the completed form.  Students applying for extended time must register for the HSPT at www.njcoopexam.org by October 25, 2024.

October 25th
 Last day to register for the November 8, 2024, HSPT

Nov. 1st – 6th
Test site admission letters sent by NJCOOPEXAM via email to those registered to take the HSPT

November 8th
HSPT administered to students (8:00 a.m.–11:45 a.m.)
For students with extended time accommodation (8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.)

November 16th
Makeup test for students registered for the November 8th test but unable to attend testing on November 8th due to illness or other unexpected circumstances. The make-up test will be administered at several testing sites.

December 4th
Ninth Grade Applicant Records due in high schools

January 13th
Scholastic Testing Services (STS) sends HSPT Student Score Reports to parents via email

January 17th
High School decision notifications sent to applicants
