Hudson Catholic Regional High School (HCRHS) is rolling out a new program this fall designed to prepare students for higher education. The Media Arts Certificate Program is an 18-credit program hosted by Hudson Catholic Regional High School and New Jersey City University. The goal of the program is to promote successful undergraduate educational experiences for qualified students during the 2022-2023, 2023-2024, and 2024-2025 academic years.
Ms. Juliette Wester is a history teacher at Seton Hall Preparatory School in West Orange, NJ. She joined the Seton Hall family in 2014 and has since become a fixture in the school community. Julie was awarded the Monsignor Michael E. Kelly Award this past school year, Seton Hall Prep’s equivalent to Teacher of the Year Award. Her school community went on to nominate her for the New Jersey Council for American Private Education (NJCAPE) 2022 New Jersey Nonpublic School Teacher of the Year Award.
Dan and Cindy Ritchey have always been grateful for how instrumental Union Catholic’s Success Program was in the development and success of their daughter, Alex, a member of UC’s Class of 2017. As a result, they’ve found ways to give back to the school as a way to show their appreciation for the profound impact Union Catholic had on Alex, who worked tirelessly to earn Honor Roll Status all four years and went on to make the Dean’s List at Kean University, where she recently graduated.

There’s real money on the line for the investing club at St. Benedict’s Preparatory School in Newark, New Jersey. This year, the Gray Bee Investors club — made up of about 15 high school students — is helping make investing decisions for the Grossman Family Student Investment Fund, which was established through a $100,000 gift to the school from the Grossman Family Foundation.
