The Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Newark serve over 22,000 students in 74 schools across the counties of Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Union. This includes both archdiocesan and private/religiously-affiliated schools. Admissions procedures vary across grade levels, and between private/archdiocesan schools, but a general overview of the process is offered in this section.
